  This cabin is cozy and very spacious, the views were amazing with lots of wildlife (foxes) we enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. Down fall was issues with the oven not working but the maintenance team came out with in the hour of calling.

  We stayed at the Cook Family Lodge in Blue River Colorado for a wedding in Breckinridge. It was just a short 15 minute drive away from Breck. The host was nice enough to let us check in early because we were ahead of schedule. The home was clean, equipped with everything we needed, and the host was quick with responses when we had questions.

  Our recent stay at the Cook Family Lodge was memorable for all the right reasons.
  The location was great and centralized for our planned activities; one hour to Leadville for fly fishing, an hour to Buena Vista for whitewater rafting, only 40 minutes to Mayflower Gulch for hiking and less than 10 minutes to Hoosier Pass, Quandary Peak and Wheeler Lakes trailheads for hiking and anywhere in Breckenridge for shopping and dining or just strolling along the Blue River.
  The house had plenty of room, bedrooms, beds and baths for our group of seven and could easily have accommodated a few more. There were plenty of towels, soap and shampoo. The cold water was refreshingly cold and the hot very hot. The WiFi worked great and the hot tub was heated and ready for us.
  Our host checked in online with us just after we arrived. We informed him that there were only 3 teaspoons in the silverware drawer and that one of the living room shades was broken. He was very responsive and said he’d contact the management company and have that taken care of.
  We would stay there again.

  The layout of this cabin was just right for us. The kids stayed upstairs, one adult got the middle bedroom, and the other adult stayed downstairs; each floor has its own bathroom. The location is not far from downtown Breckenridge, which we loved. It was just far enough outside of town to be quiet and serene yet still convenient to anything we needed. If/when we return to Breckenridge, we will most likely stay in this same place.

  Great location just minutes away from Breckenridge. Very private. Home was generally in good shape with the exception of what seemed like poor water pressure. Had to call for maintenance help with a stuck water valve in bathroom, but response was excellent. Overall very pleased.

  The house is comfortable, though has a few oddities like the light switches and the lights that need to be plugged into inconvenient places. The futón is not very comfortable, but the rest is very nice. The location is nice, to be away from town but close enough. We enjoyed our stay.

  Cool cabin was in a great location, the cabin was was not properly stocked for my group. There was not enough towels for everyone. The beds were equipped with only 1 pillow with pillow cases that did not fit the pillows. There was a terrible odor in the basement/ garage. Property manager had an electrician working in the kitchen when we checked in at our checkin time.

  We enjoyed our stay in the Cook Family Lodge. If you want to stay a little distance from Breckenridge to avoid the traffic, this is a great place! We enjoyed all the amenities like the hot tub and attached garage. The kitchen utensils such as measuring cups and measuring spoons need to be replaced as there were not many in the home. An electric mixer would also have been nice as we fixed all our meals at the house.

  It was a decent place centrally located to most attractions. It was outdated. There was a very musty damp smell in the lower level which I inquired about prior to making my reservation, and I was told this issue was corrected. The price was high for what you got.

  Great Experience, had everything we needed for two families. Christmas decorations were a nice touch. We got two feet of snow while we were there, the snow plow cleaning the driveway was an added bonus. Easy ride into Breckenridge. We love just hanging out at the house after skiing.

  We had a wonderful time! Had a little friend reunion during the pandemic so we wanted a place we would enjoy hanging out in. Hot tub was wonderful - although I think the chlorine level is too high because our suits were bleached and some of us had skin irritation. But it was such a lovely place, just a short drive to Breckenridge proper. It was clean and the kitchen was stocked so we could have family dinners. We loved it!
